So Probably close to 180hp at the rear wheel!!!

Tokico Radial Calipers, New Bodywork, a few pounds (Kilos) heavier too and 3 colors to pick from all Black, Blue/Black and Orange Black (KTM decals are optional!!!)

Does Yamaha Listen?

Here is a proposed design for the Yamaha FZ600S model back in 1997(Tokyo Motor Show)... Never went into production such a shame!! I believe this one of the sexiest Yamaha's ever made... maybe now is time for something radical as this... Come on Yamaha Make dreams come true!!!

A Future Classic from Kawasaki

Although this is just a special made somewhere in Japan using an old GPz750 and parts from a ZX6R and 10R I believe a bike based on the old GPz look would be Popular... I just think the Origami style Z1000 and Z750 are a bit boring!!!

1200 The New Limit for Twins in WSBK

This just in from the FIM:
Superbike World Championship
Changes to the Technical Rules for 2008 - Twin cylinders to 1200cc
After consultation with all the parties involved and upon the proposal submitted by the Superbike Commission, the FIM has decided the following amendment and additions to the Superbike World Championship technical rules for 2008.
Displacement capacities.
o 2 cylinders over 850cc up to 1200cc
o 3 cylinders over 750cc up to 1000cc
o 4 cylinders over 750cc up to 1000cc
· Minimum weights.
o 2 cylinders over 850cc up to 1200cc: 168kg
o 4 cylinders over 750cc up to 1000cc: 162kg
Minimum weight of 2 cylinders over 850cc up to 1200cc will be updated, if needed, during the Championship in steps of ±3kg to 171kg as a maximum and 162kg as a minimum.
· Air-restrictors.
Only 2 cylinders over 850cc up to 1200cc will be fitted with air-restrictors. Initial size will be equivalent to a Ø50mm circular area. Air-restrictors size will be updated, if needed, during the Championship in steps of ±2mm of diameter in a range from equivalent to a Ø46mm circular area to no air-restrictor at all.
· Balance of different motorcycle concepts.
Weight limit and then air-restrictors size of 2 cylinders over 850cc up to 1200cc machines will be updated, if needed, during the Championship, by a system analysing the race points obtained.
· Tuning level.
All machines will have the same level of tuning presently applied to 4 cylinders over 750cc up to 1000cc, with the exception of connecting rods that must be standard for 2 cylinders over 850cc up to 1200cc.
· Homologation numbers.
For 2008 and 2009 all manufacturers, irrespective of their total production numbers, will have to produce a minimum of 1000 bikes in order to get an homologation.
For 2010 onwards the minimum production number will be increased to 3000 bikes.
The complete set of the new 2008 Superbike technical rules will be issued by FIM during next week.

Former TT winner Shaun Harris is described as 'critical' this evening after a high speed crash in today's Superstock Race.
The Kiwi lost control of his machine at the Railway in Union Mills.
Medics were quick on the scene and he was taken to the nearby Nobles Hospital where he was first described as having serious injuries and multiple fractures. Race Officials say though his condition has deteriorated.
The New Zealander previously won the Production 1000 in 2003.

Premiere in the USA - KTM 690 BAJA
KTM is starting in the Baja 500 with a brand new sports prototype machine. This race is a shortened version of the legendary Baja 1000. KTM’s factory rider Cyril Despres and Chris Blais will be riding together with the Baja specialist David Pearson.
The very popular Desert Races, the Baja 500 and the Baja 1000 are a new challenge for KTM and the company enters them equipped with the rich experience and success it has gathered in the Dakar rallies. The Austrian sport motorcycle manufacturer is competing for the first time in the traditional Baja race on the Baja California peninsular, right on the Mexican border. Cyril Despres, winner of this year’s Dakar Rally and his American team-mate Chris Blais, who has finished on the podium in numerous Baja races will be riding for KTM together with the experienced American Davis Pearson. All will be riding the new experimental model from the Austrian manufacturer.
